Lei Day

May 1st is called May Day in the United States and is a celebration of spring. In Hawaii, they have a special event on May Day called Lei Day. It is an event at Kapiolani Park. You can view gorgeous Leis, learn how to make your own lei, eat tasty local food and enjoy listening live music.

The festival is from 9:30 to 5:30 and is free.

Last year we had a lot of fun looking at the leis and learning how to make our own lei bracelets. I really recommend that you join this year!
